Welcome and Understanding
From an early age and throughout adulthood, Joaquin Joe Claussell’s favorite past time was devoted to listening to music.
One day with out warning, the bedroom he shared back home with his brother Jose Cochise Claussell- began to periodically transform itself into a sound vessel. Soon after, Joaquin and Jose were taken on over nigh trips to other worlds and galaxies, momentarily escaping the living chaos below and around them. Even after having traveled extensively to remote areas of the worlds on countless vehicles over and through the air – Till this day there is no place where Joaquin considered himself to be freer.
A few years ago, Joaquin created a 2-hour radio session and extended An Invitation to Openness to anyone interested in audibly visiting his listening chamber-filled with an immerse library of sounds and rhythms deeply rooted in eclectic genres of music. But it was short lived due to Joaquin having to attend to multiple assignments-all do with the process of creating in other music / artistic ventures, including overseeing and nourishing the rhythms and art of others by the way his Sacred Rhythm Music Venture.
If one wished, on an irregular scheduled occasions: they will be granted access to his musical chamber by tuning into one of many of Joaquin’s weekly music listening sessions that will be advertised periodically on the Cosmic Arts website.
During the listening session, Joaquin will naturally selects music meant mostly to quench his thirst for dope tones and frequencies that are derived by dope music. The sessions are open ended, and will on occasions end abruptly.
As far as the flow of the listening sessions-there will be times where some music selections will be chosen for the purpose of introducing tunes that Joaquin is currently into. However, due to the cosmic and primal nature of these musical
transmissions-most selections will be co-selected by the vibration accruing from the moment they are chosen.
The format played will be 95% Vinyl, as well as Reel-To-Reel, Cassette Tapes and CD’s. All raw and natural occurrences, such as records skipping etc. are all part of the program, with no polishing what so ever.
In the end, An Invitation To Openness is simply an alternate channel that can be opened by anyone who not only want to listen to dope music, but who also have the capacity to listen in the way of putting their ego aside and simply allow their senses to engage into something different.
